A Story in Colour
My art first emerges as oil paintings on wood panel, in which the scenes and objects appear within a colour framework to provide an uplifting view. Paintings take several weeks to complete based on drying time for various layers of oil paint. Commissions usually begin with reference to a provided image and where breakdown of surfaces and choice of respective colours are open to interpretation.
